The Local Nest

Jane, a local Robertson resident and owner of The Local Nest, has been dreaming about starting her own homeware and clothing business for many years.

Having an academic background in environmental and medical philosophy, Jane understands the impact a living environment can have on our health and sense of wellbeing. Connecting our internal mental space with our local environment fosters a sense of connectedness with where we live that promotes community and contentment. The idea of incorporating this philosophy into a homewares and styling business had been brewing for many years and when some fabulous retail space became available in the Highlands Hive in the centre of Robertson, right beside the Big Potato, The Local Nest was born.
